Amongst some of my favorite self-love and singlehood book recommendation, here is Single on Purpose from John Kim. A true gem, that might not be for everyone, but full of insights and inspiration on how to be happy single.

What I say about it :) :
=) Full of tools : Now, what I loved about this book is that, as an anxiously attached lover, it is full of tools on how to be OK or even HAPPY on your own. It really offers guidance for choosing to be single and for choosing ourself first, one step at a time. It's full of shifts in perspective which makes it one of my favorite empowering book.
=) Language & tone : I really enjoyed the way John Kim writes. Even though, very unformal sometimes, it's actually very refreshing. It makes his content very accessible and this book felt like a companion on my whole singlehood journey.
=( The man perspective : As I was exploring the author's book I often felt like the pages had been written from a men perspective, for men. I'm unsure what was J.Kim's objective and target but his style has definitely kept me unsatisfied at times.
=( Repetitive : I do not remember having this feeling but my friend found it a bit repetitive, so you might too!
Definitely a book I've read more than once, a book I'd recommend to anyone, single or not, to get to know yourself within or without a relationship, and a book I reopen every once in a while to check in with myself and see where I am at on my self-love journey.
