If you're single or navigating the dating world in our digital era, THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU.
I couldn't stop listening to it. Firstly, Rebekah's Accent reminded me of my time in New Zealand, triggering good feelings close to my heart. One good reason to not let go of it. Secondly, this is not really a self-help book but not a fiction book either. I prefer to warn you, this structure in between the author's personal & hilarious dating journey and the advice she gives as she navigates her love life, will probably make you addicted to it.
The stories the author shares are authentic, relatable and very inspiring. This book has played a big role in my last 1.5 year of being single, so let me tell you more... En route!

What I thought about this book :
If you haven't understood it yet from my little introduction, I COMPLETELY LOVED this book. Here is why :
As a big fan and reader of self-help books, this one felt different. I felt like I could learn without having to engage too much of my thinking brain. I could simply surrender to the author's story & learn through her own experience of the dating world. A break for my highly active brain.
Rebekah Campbell's shares are so authentic and relatable, that I felt empowered by her own stories.
Take what you need, leave what you don't : the tools she creates for herself so she can be more structured in her search, the strategies she sets up for surviving the dating world while feeling like she's getting somewhere with it, her repetitive failures, her expectations, the adjustments she makes or is forced to make... the stories she shares are an invitation for you to get inspired and make it your own.
I love how the author shares, through her own story, parts of her journey into psychotherapy. She offers insights into human behavior, attachment style and emotional intelligence through the depth of her experiences, giving us the opportunity to gain deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationship patterns.
Last but not least, this book is the perfect reminder that to find love, we need to have the courage to embrace our true self and communicate openly with potential partners while questioning our own definitions of love. Maybe love isn't crazy and unsettling after all. Maybe it is calm, peaceful and safe.
If you're feeling lonely, frustrated by the dating world &/or discouraged by your own patterns, go get this book today!!! This book will make you laugh, cry and think at the same time.
